Gates, Doorways, Beginnings And Endings...

Sorry for my non - existant blogs entries over the last couple of weeks. I'll try and make up for it with a large, long winded account of January.

Where to start? Hmm... New Years Sounds Good!

New year was spent up at Iain and Lindas and It was as much fun as it was the year before. We arrived on New Year's Eve and in the evening around 11, we went down to Drumnadrochit, the village beside Loch Ness for their annual New Year's Street Party. It was loads of fun. My siblings and myself had our own mini céilidh, which was rather good If I say so myself! Then, when the bells went at 12 and we had proceeded to wish everyone a Happy New Year, we left to continue the festivities at Iain and Linda's house. I escaped just in time as I could hear the opening bars of 'Rockstar'. I bloody hate that song with a vengeance.

The next day was spent with a lovely dinner and lovely company. If I'm honest I can't remember much of it anymore but that is due to my short term memory loss, not alcohol consumption.

That Inconspicuous Bottle Of Lambrini Is Not Mine...

The next couple of days were spent lazing about, although we did go for a drive one day and explored the frozen wonders of Ben Afric (Notice how poetic that was?)

Not Bad From The Car Window Not Bad Either

Then after we left, it was back to the joys of school and work.

Sara And Ellyn's 16th Masquerade Party was the next big event and it was great. The venue was nice, the barman was especially nice and a bacon sandwich at 10.00pm at night didn't go amiss either. It was a fabulous night!

Installment two of my adventures in January : coming soon!

Before I Forget...

Right Now - 'Doomed Now' - Does It Offend You, Yeah?

Well, It's been a while so apologies.

Christmas was...Christmas. Old age brings with it the unevitability of feeling that Christmas, for me, Is now just like any other day in the year. Exceptions including receiving things wrapped in paper and getting a three course meal that was prepared two days earlier.

Scrooge Much?

But I did enjoy myself. I was very happy with the things I got including

  • Straighteners

  • IPod Docking Station

  • 'LOTR' DVD's

  • Fleetwood Mac 'The Dance' DVD

  • 30 Seconds To Mars CD's

  • My Blue Dress

The latter being a complete surprise, I was immediately aware that my family have got to be one of the most observant families ever. Christmas dinner was good as well but In all honesty, the day passes rather normally.

It's a Shame Tbh.

Then, For New Year, we went up to Loch Ness to stay with my Auntie and Uncle again. That was good. Lot's of fun.

Then back to school. Annoying Much? Hard work and it didn't make me feel any better knowing I hadn't completed all the homework I needed to have done.

Hanna stayed over last night. It was fun. She was impressed with my swedish pronounciation of her family member's names and I was impressed with her Guitar Hero skills. A very productive night. Oh! I quite like Deathnote esp. L, the candy king.

So. Sara and Ellyn's party on Thursday. Looking forward to that. I got my mask. It's blue and sparkly.

And That Is All. I'm not good at the blog thing tbh but I try.

Hiding Behind The Mask.
